Please honor the established dress codes. They apply to all members, children and guests. If you are approached by a staff member about your attire, please respect their reminder. The standards below may vary for select events and within specific dining venues. If in doubt, please call the club to inquire.
Men & Boys
- Appropriate pants/shorts (khakis, dark denim pants, Bermuda length shorts), collared shirts, turtlenecks, mock turtlenecks and dress shirts are acceptable.
- Shirts must be tucked in (including Hawaiian shirts).
- Belts must be worn (boys age 4 & older).
- Appropriate golf & tennis attire is permitted.
- Dress hoodies, appropriate for traditional golf wear are permitted.
- Closed-toe shoes are required and must be presentable (flip-flops are allowed on the patio and in the locker rooms).
Women & Girls
- Skirts, skorts or shorts must be of conservative length being no shorter than mid-thigh.
- Appropriate golf & tennis attire is permitted.
- Appropriate open-toe shoes (flip-flops are allowed on the patio and in the locker rooms).
Not Permitted
- Ripped, frayed or distressed clothing
- Hats & visors in any indoor areas of the club (except in locker rooms)
- Midriff showing tops
- Cargo pants/shorts
- T-shirts with writing
- Men - no sleeveless shirts
- Exercise/yoga pants/athleisure clothing
- Flip-flops (permitted on the patio and in locker rooms)
- Bare feet
Denim Rules
- Only dark denim & white denim pants are permitted (no light denim).
- Only white (not blue) denim jackets are permitted.
- No ripped, frayed or distressed denim.
- No denim shirts, shorts, skirts or dresses.
Hats
- Hats are permitted at dining tables on the patio and outdoor seating areas (fire pits & Adirondack chairs).
- It is preferred that members remove baseball hats while sitting at patio dining tables if sun/hair is not a factor.
- Baseball hats may not be worn backwards.
CCNC is a family club, please respect the dress code when entering & leaving the pool area, dining, and when relaxing poolside.
Pool area
- Beach cover-ups/shirts and shoes must be worn when entering and leaving the pool facility.
- Family appropriate bathing suits are mandatory (i.e. appropriate coverage, no thongs).
- Exercise/athleisure clothing is permitted in the pool area, however, consistent with overall club policies, no jean shorts, daisy dukes, frayed jeans, etc. in the Pool Bar area.
Poolside cafe
- Adults and children (9 years and older) are required to wear shirts/coverups and shoes.
Pool Bar
- Cover-ups, shirts & shoes are always required.
- Flip-flops are permitted (please, no bare feet).
- Golf and tennis attire is permitted, however no exercise or athleisure clothing.
Proper golf attire, as defined below, is required on the golf course, driving range, practice putting green, practice chipping green, and all other areas that pertain to the golf course operation. Members are responsible for ensuring their children and guests are properly attired. Improperly dressed golfers will be asked to change before using any of the golf facilities.
Men & Boys
- Shirts must have collars & sleeves and must be tucked in at all times.
- Baseball hats may not be worn backwards.
- Men and boys must wear belts (boys age 4 & older).
- Dress hoodies, appropriate for traditional golf wear are permitted.
Women & Girls
- Golf shirts may be sleeveless with a collar, or collarless with sleeves.
- Skirts, skorts or shorts must be of conservative length being no shorter than mid-thigh.
Not Permitted
- Golf shoes with metal spikes
- Denim of any kindTennis attire (except in the golf shop)
- Short sleeve mock-neck shirts
- Cut-off or cargo shorts with any outside pockets
- Sweatpants

Proper attire is required at all times on the tennis, pickleball, paddle and squash courts. The dress code applies to all members (including children) and guests.
Tennis & Pickleball
All Players
- Attire must be all white, including socks and hats.
- Tennis shoes may be white or colored.
- Prior to June 1, solid dark colored warm-up tops & pants (or leggings) are permitted during cool weather.
- Prior to June 1 and after Sept. 15, colored tennis attire is permitted on the pickleball courts.
- Baseball hats may not be worn backwards.
Men & Boys
- Must wear collared shirts.
Not Permitted
- T-shirts
- Open midriffs
- Colored hats & socks
- Running shoes
Paddle
- Athletic wear and rubber-soled shoes must be always worn on all courts.
Squash
- Athletic gear is permitted (men, no sleeveless shirts please).
- All players must wear clean, non-marking sneakers. Please only wear sneakers inside the squash facility (not to be worn from your car to the courts).
- Speaking on cell phones is only permitted in the parking areas and in the locker rooms (please be brief and discreet).
- Silent messenging is permitted for necessary communications only.
- Placing or accepting calls is not permitted in any dining areas, on the golf course, on/around the tennis, pickleball, squash or paddle courts or in the pool area.
- Children may use cell phones to call or text for necessary communications only. Calls must take place in the locker room or the parking lot.
- Please refrain from using tablets/iPads in the clubhouse dining areas.
